Some details on the AC12 would be nice.
I thought it made sense to wire speakerlink up to the back of each speaker and convert there. If i now still have to run the old cables between the pair of DSP speakers it sort of bypasses the thought of the speakerlink advantage.
Also do i need to run 8 meter long RS-232 cable between the AC12 and the speakers ? Or for a software update i still have to hook up to the speaker itself ?

It seems silly to install 4 AC-12 units directly under the 861v6 and than continue running old cables (if you can rewire easily that is..)
Can we not simply buy a AC12 for each speaker ? (not very cost efficient, but ..)
