Details of the 800-series trade-up deal in the UK

- The trade-up runs from 1st February to July 31st 2010.

- All existing 861's (v1/v2/v3/v4) can be traded-in for a graphite, silver or black* 861v6 (and, presumably, Meridian Select colours at a 20% premium).

- All existing 808's and 808i's (.1/.2) can be traded-in for a graphite, silver or black* 808.3 (and, presumably, Meridian Select colours at a 20% premium).

- Dealers do what they want with the traded-in units. The units will not be going back to Meridian.

- Units may only be traded-in once. I assume that Meridian will do a serial number check on traded-in units.

861v6 trade-up prices

- Price when trading in an 861v1 or v2 = �7,500 (saving of �4000 vs. RRP of �11,500)

- Price when trading in an 861v3 or v4 = �6,500 (saving of �5000 vs. RRP of �11,500)

808.3 trade-up prices

- Price when trading in an 808(.1) = �7,500 (saving of �2,500 vs. RRP of �10,000)

- Price when trading in an 808.2 = �6,250 (saving of �3,750 vs. RRP of �10,000)


* TBC, but I've heard nothing to suggest that silver or graphite units will be at a premium, as suggested in another thread.
