Reading the spec of your drive it does seem better than mine so hopefully its more stable too. One good thing is they are easily reprogrammed to make them a server allowing full access/transfer of files over the web. Yes you have the software supplied but it did not allow transfer of MP3,mp4,avi....(the list was long)unless on home LAN. This might of changed now but at the time i bought mine that was the case.
