If you look at the manual for a 568, it clearly shows an RS232-style D connector in the expansion socket.
Wonder what Meridian had planned for that socket?

�970. That's 568.2MM money and a lot of money for a really early serial number model.
So either it's Christmas, people are deciding we're coming out of recession and finally spending their upgrade money, or bidders thought it was an MM (we don't know it if is). Or a combination of all three.

Maybe it is just an increased awareness of the M brand, hence the greater interest on eBay and the general rise in prices? Then again it could be that it is getting close to Christmas

I do think though that the used value of certain (or all?) Meridian kit is going to take a hit when it becomes widely known that Meridian seems to no longer offer gratis repairs.

I do think though that the used value of certain (or all?) Meridian kit is going to take a hit when it becomes widely known that Meridian seems to no longer offer gratis repairs. I doubt it. It's prestige kit and people will always want it - they tend not to think about the cost of repair.
