is that correct ?

files get ripped from CD(whatever format) to WAV file
and encoded or compressed to FLAC and stored on a PC HD.
When playing that FLAC file, the format get "live" or "real time" decoded or extended to WAV.
This will go via SPDIF to the DSP.
