When I had a G95 with a stuck disc this worked :-

Power off at the back
Insert credit card between rollers (on either side) and hold there
Power back on

Do we know why this happens? Why/how your fix works? And whether this will keep happening?

I had listed the G92 for sale on a well known auction site, but obviously don’t want to sell a pup.

I haven’t summoned the nerve to try another disc yet...

** Update: it works intermittently. The credit card trick works reliably. I have relisted with a clear disclosure **

I'm afraid I don't the science/art behind the fix -- I got it from Meridian years ago.

TEAC is still producing them.
