Hey all,

After much searching about then waiting months for a back-order, I finally scored some uber rare 240 degree, 7 pin DIN plugs to build the 204-specific Comms cable. My favorite tech sourced some wire and built me two (one spare). So I finally get the tuner talking to the remainder of my wife's 2xx stack after a two year wait(!) and I have absolutely no clue how to make it work.

There seems to be something going on with the onboard timer. Setup is not intuitive and without the manual or a walkthrough by another 204 owner, I'm stumped. Anyone got a 204 manual they can scan and PDF to me? We should forward it to Duncan Rolfe too for the Meridian archive. Thanks.

PS If another Hitchhiker is looking for a 2xx "Q" Comms cable, I'll sell 'em one for my cost ($50), plus shipping.

I have a 204 manual, I will try and get it scanned this evening.

Completely OT:

I see in your profile that you ride off-road. What sort of sled(s) do you ride? I sell bikes for a living, own a shop in fact (hence the email addy) so I pretty much ride whatever I damn well like! For XC I'm a huge 29er fan. The XC ride is a Fisher 29er hardtail frame painted in '06 factory team colors with a completely custom build kit. The Fish comes in at 24 pounds complete with stubby bar-ends, bottle cage, mini-bell, and half of a lexan bash guard. Thats pretty light for a 29er. The other extreme is my DH rig- a Brodie Demon, a 50 pound beast that loves to go crap-your-pants quick down your favorite ski resort DH park. For every kinda trail in between those extremes, I tricked out a Santa Cruz Nomad this past Spring. Haven't got to really enjoy it yet though. The Docs bolted and epoxied in a titanium prosthetic left knee to replace my worn out one this past Spring. Uggh. Its taken awhile to bounce back from that! I'm spinning indoors again now though and should be ready and rarin' to hit the trails once the world thaws out again.

That is a nice stable you have there.

I also have a lot of bikes sitting in my basement. The newest is a decked out Lynskey custom SS (20.5 lbs), I also have a loaded Titus Locomoto which I use for trail bike duties, another loaded Locomoto built up as a light (24.5 lbs for 5" x 5"!) 1X9 for the occasional race duties/spare bike and a DuraAce equipped Titus road bike. My wife has a matching Locomoto and Titus roadbike. More money in my bikes than I do my Hi-fi.
