Mine arrived yesterday - wasn't sure I would get one since I registered all used equipment. Wonder if the previous [new] owners had any work done in that extra year - maybe M will give them a cash rebate.

I've been using Meridian equipment since 1982 and I've never had to pay for any equipment repair, even when it's out of warranty.

I bought a $40000 Meridian system, and all I got was this lousy keychain... 3 years warranty? And what if your dealer (who has no address, never answers the phone and make all his customers transfer down money to his cousin in the Caymans) never puts anything on record, in fear of the remote possibility of having to pay tax... laugh

Current M-related equipment: DSP7000 (2), G91A FM, Sonos ZP90/ZP80 Zone Players, F80 (kitchen,yellow).

Were i in your shoes I would say..time for a new dealer...although the issues with my system have been minimal I am absolutely certain that their timely and accurate resolution was greatly assisted by my dealer...

my dealer has been great and I got a nice surprise in the mail today. a free DSP 8000 center with HDMI would be great of course... but more than anything its nice to get some recognition. Remember, Meridian did this on their own. I say thank you. And thanks for the fish! lol

best regards,
Jerry

Meridian certainly seems to be doing the right things these days with recognizing the value of its existing customer base and I would not hesitate a second in recommending them.

Anyone else who registered back whenever, but still haven't received the keyfob?
I registered my G91, G68, and 558 back when the offer was first put up, and never received anything.

Maybe if I try registering my brand new F80 (red), and the black one I bought for my Dad we'll receive them... (or more likely, he'll get one and I won't).

Speaking with Edd on Saturday at Heathrow he indicated he did have another batch ready to send out (and several hundred more keyrings waiting for new registrations). He's on holiday this week but should be getting these out soon.

(Sorry Edd if I mis-understood what you said...)

I was in a flap last week as I thought I'd lost mine - but after giving up (assuming I'd thrown it away in some old plastic bag I used to my Meridian brochures, manuals etc.) it turned up in some clean washing near my bed. Very relieved I have now put it in a safer safe place for posterity.
