Just browsing through this month's UK 'Top Gear' Magazine looking for something on the VXR8 which might just tempt me away from a Jag XF, and who did I see on a full page ad on page 90?

'Meridian. When only top performance is good enough'.

They're focussing on the G95. I get the impression that they're establishing some credibility before mentioning the F80 - perhaps there will be a coincidental mention of it in the mag next week.

They've also got a full page in Stuff mag for May (which I absolutely did not buy for the cover girl that these mags stick on - honest.... well perhaps it influenced me a little). This time for the F80, but they've also got a mini-review (full page photo, though) and the editor lets it slip that his system is a G95 with B&W speakers.

'Meridian may traditionally cater for the most anally retentive of audiophiles'. What does that make us? I think we might be developing a reputation for ourselves.

Anyway, the laser pointers that I use for checking toe-in have fallen off my speakers, so I'd better go sort it.

Cheers,

Mark.

Well they are certainly getting some messages out there...

On Sunday I saw the F80 in "The Mail on Sunday" TV guide on page 3 so lots of people will see that. And last week I saw a short item on Meridian on CNN morning news (headlining custom installs) - so they are even getting TV coverage.
