For various reasons I have traded in my DSP-6K's for some other equipment. This is not an ad but I see that the place where I did the deal are asking abt USD 5600 for them.
They are abt 20 months old. I'm asking out of curiosity because I have not seen 2nd hand 6K's on the market before so I wonder whether the price is reasonable? It sounds cheap to me, I think I bought them for more than 3 times that amount?
Guidance please! I can use it in forthcoming negotiations! I'm also thinking of trading in my 861 but the prices here seems to low so I might just keep it!
secondary-market 96/24 6000s go for $12K and up in the US. $5,600 is wildly low - are they damaged? or is that per speaker perhaps? http://www.audiogon.com/ is a useful resource.
I whish I lived in USA at least when it comes to electronics and 2nd hand market. But Sweden is a small market for HiFi and you get nothing, almost, for 2nd hand gear. Especially suspicious speakers with built in electronics that few have ever heard of!!
There is nothing wrong with the speakers and the asking price for both are USD 5600,- if they have not done some error misprinting but I doubt that and they thought the speakers wud be difficult to sell.
