Well, the 880 concept was introduced in 2002 but for all I know never made it to production... At that time though it was a unique product.

Hi Rod
That article was from early 2003 and the project was subsequently shelved. If it has been resurrected, I can't see it being anywhere near that cost.
Cheers

Also I don't think this product can be anything else than a all-in-one audiosystem. The combination with Ferrari is made probably to create an image like "Ferrari-quality-audio" for the people not known to high quality audio. To link this to solely a DVD player or whatever wouldn't be logical I think.

In the spirit of Spinaltap, I would like to confirm that I am not involved in the corrupt theft of a global sport.

It doesn't look like anything to do with iPod or server. The picture is quite tantalizing.

Okay, radical thought, but perhaps an in car unit? Linn have such a system, and M have been broadening their target customer groups of late...
Cheers
George
PS I've noticed Ferrari doing licensing arrangements with Olympus cameras and Acer laptops in recent years.

It's not obvious. Go to the main page, click on News, and then the Engineered to Excel link...! http://www.engineeredtoexcel.com/
