No Bit torrent discussion in this thread please.

Following the enjoyment of the previously discussed DSOTM recording, I have downloaded the Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here DVDA image, but am unable to play it on my 598 - the disc loads but display stays blank with '--' displayed - won't respond to 'play' or show any kind of a menu.

Has anyone had any joy playing the WYWH recording on a M player ?

does it have a DD track and if it does can you play it in another DVD player- even on your computer?

What kind of blank DVD media did you use? + or -? I have had success with DVD-R with my 800 but I have not tried +R.

best regards,
Jerry

Using DVD-R which has worked for me before (both DVDV and DSOTM). There are no files in the VIDEO_TS dir, so the disk is MLP only. I also notice that there is no AUDIO_SV file which I see on other DVDA disks.

It me about 5 days to d/l the file, more than DSotM. I have to say this is no where near the DSotM DVD-A we all talked about before. If you want to give it a go I can send you the instruction (but be warned, the file long, and you will need to be a bit more "savvy"). If I had to do it again, I wouldn't.

Thums DOWN.

Sorry, but I think the DSOTM DVD-A was a once in a life time special case.

Even respected sites are reviewing it.

But I believe WYWH is a standard bittorent rip and inappropriate to discuss it here.
