I have a 602 transport which I no longer use that you can have for �100, however, it will need a service as it's started to skip when it warms up.

DEAR DRBLIND.
I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A Meridian 506 20 BIT CD PLAYER AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. ITS AREAL HIGH END SATFF AND U CAN BUY IT FOR ALOW PRICE IF U LOOK AROUND.
I HAVE AROTEL RA 02 PRE AMPLIFIER AND BOSE 201 WHICH ARE GREAT SPEAKERS FOR THE PRICE.
IAM LOOKING FOR ABETTER AMPLIFIER AND I HAVE MY EYES ON SONUS FABER CREMONA SPEAKERS. CAN ANYONE ADVICE ME WHICH AMPLIFIER WILL SUIT THE 506?

I am interested in GaryG's offer, however, how much do you think Meridian will charge to look at the 602, and what could be wrong with it?

You will probably find Meridian's service dept to be very accomodating. Give them a call. You may not be aware, but you'd expect to pay �400-�450 for a well kept 602, and it's worth every penny of that...
