With that kind of money you should have asked your dealer to set it up for you. Check to see if any signal is going to the PJ via DVI ,RGB or what other inputs you used. Is the Faroudja piece connected properly?. Try a component cable from a DVD player to the PJ alone to check if the unit is working without the Faroudja in between.

FYI...the PJ will only accept a 1080p input signal, so a YPP from the DVD won't work. You'll need 1080p from a G- or 800 player, if you're not using the Faroudja 1080p processor. Can you pull up any of the test patterns or menu (PJ or processor)?
BTW, I agree with RegaApollo that your dealer should assist.

@RegaApollo: MF1 only input is DVI @1080p. Check the datasheet.
@bebop86: MF1 comes out of standby by holding down the standby button for a few seconds.
Still, I agree you should have a dealer to assist at this.

HEY GUYS-My dealer is closed on Sat.- will call monday morning- It has nothing to do with inputs- There must be something wrong as I can not get it to even go into operational mode and get the light to go on- it starts to go and then the lights start blinking- I e-mailed Mr. Phelps and he thinks that maybe it got damaged internally during shipping??? very disappointing!!!

The MF1 projector will only accept 1080p, and that can be either 1080p48 or 1080p60. I don't know about 1080p50 for PAL.
It won't accept anything else, regardless of whether or not it has inputs for them.
