I've just completed Bi-Amping a 5x200w Parasound 2205A for the bass and a 5x 145w Bryston 9B/ST for the Mid and Upper range of 3 B&W Nautilus 801's. To give 345w per speaker x3 fed from a Meridan 568 and I'd just like to say...
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
Ah I feel better now thanks.

No good then?
I've been toying with looking at partnering Bryston amps with my 568.2 next year if I decide against the DSP route.

Hi Daniel/Ronomy,
I'm so impressed with the Bryston,I can't stop grinning. It really is truly great. I've already started searching the web for a Bryston 6C/SST 3x300w as an upgrade to the Parasound.
I watched some R1 Band of Brothers Episodes last night on the Sim2 projector, and the sound was simply stunning, in fact in some at the battle sequences I was blinking in terror from the sound effects.
I'm feeding the rear channels with the spare channels into the 4x Dipole B&W speakers, so 6x channels for the L,C &R, and the remaining 4 for the rears.
Yesterday I replaced all the standard off-the-shelf audio interconnects with Chord and even the rear channel quality has been increased.
Right Episodes 3 and 4 tonight then..

I love my Bryston 7BST mono blocks and I use a 8BST for my rear 4 channels. I couldn't be happier. I have Arial 10T's and CC3 center and MK 150 tripole surrounds. Although Bryston amps are known for very good bass your Parasound is also pretty darn good. Other than maybe better synergy with all Bryston...I don't think your missing anything. Good idea biamping. Bryston amps sound wonderful. Smooth and very detailed. Great imaging too! They do highlight any flaws in the rest of the system though. I had to tweak my cables to get my system to sound just right.
Enjoy!
Ron

Agree with Ron. I use 7BST monos with 861(v2? Dunno -The MHR version anyway!) powering N802s. Excellent

I use 3 7BTS's monoblocks on my front mains and center and a pair of Legacy{Coda} stereo amps for my sides and rears.This all run balanced from my 861 and I can't imagine it getting any better.Top to bottom everything just finally seems right. I have been totally satisfied with this amplification layout for over 5 years,and I used to try different gear every time the wind changed direction.Or so it seemed.{I still had that problem with CD transports until I got a CEC}
