I second the more subs (and over 8 channels) question like i have done for multiple years.
But i think i know the answer already..
Also it would be interesting of M could share thoughts on the way they think they get the new audio signals (DD plus, TrueHD, DTS-HD), in their processors. - HDMI (from 1.1 up) which takes 8 channels of 96/24 PCM would work (Jitter ?) - HDMI 1.3 with bitstream advaced audio codecs - 4 SP-DIF connection with MHR (only good with Meridian players)

My main question is an ETA for a HDMI 1.3 (audio only if necessary) input to the G68.
On the wishlist: Possible to have full set of surround speakers and STEREO subs, so the G68 could replace an active crossover for the main front channels and subs.

I second Saster wish for the G68/861 to replace an active xover, if it happens it would be great to raise the actual highest freq point of 150Hz up to at least 300Hz, to allow different points for hp and lp, and to offer more choice than the current 24dB/Oct alignement. Thanks Saster (and John also), I've dreamt of it and never dare to ask...

I suppose my questions, like other M owners, is how/when HDMI will be implemented in 861. Will there be an HDMI input/output card that pulls out audio and send on video? How will HDMAX type products factor in? Are we still lokking at mid-2007 for some initial solutions?
As an audiophile first, it would be appealing to me to have a second generation HDMAX do the HDMI video switching and only send HDMI audio into 861. I have been quite keen to keep video out of 861 in my setup.

Hi John
Can I repeat my earlier request for a final update to the 568.2 2.5b firmware to fix the frame delay/loss of Smartlink bug please?
Thanks!

George.
I'm sorry, I thought I had that in there.
I'll make sure it gets in.

Hi John - I think you missed my question about swapping in the newer AAC board into older (pre-J) G68s. This was question 3 in my first post. I'd be grateful if you would ask this.
Many thanks for doing this. Joel
