I'm gonna give 7.1 another go.
In the past the room was setup worse and I never had matching sides and surrounds when I tested. Now I will have 4 DSP-33's for sides and rears.
Can someone suggest some movies and music that they feel really shows what 7.1 has to offer.
The system really sounds good with 5.1.

the intro to Money for Nothing on the DVD-A worked quite well in 7.1 at M's demo in Bristol. Lots of sounds hitting the sides.

Lord of The Rings, Return of the King extended version the scene with the great battle when they battle the Witch King. Right around when he says "you fool, no man can kill me"... Really fantastic surround.
Star Wars Episodes I,II,III- lightsaber fights especially.
U571 depth charge scene
XMen scene when Wolveriene has just arrived at Prof X's place and he is walking around and Prof X is toying with him in his mind.
Probably the Matrix movies as well.

All the DTS samplers are 7.1. You can get one for ten bucks from eBay.
