Just thought you guys might like to know, I have launched a new set of speaker stands for monitor speakers.

I'll introduce a matching centre stand within the next four weeks.

The stand can be purchased in six different heights ranging from 400 to 650mm in 50mm steps.

Check them out here: www.hexateq-av.com

To see them in the flesh check out this link:

(also spot my G68/G91 combo !)

Cheerio

The stands look great, though I think the equipment rack still needs a bit of work wink

I look forward to seeing the specs on your centre stand.

Hi Richard

That's a cracking looking stand...the location shot doesn't do it justice, but it looks excellent on your website. It looks as though it could actually be used in either orientation, with the narrow or wide face towards the listener? Should give it good flexibility for wide or deep speakers!

Cheers

Thanks George.

The location shot was a DIY gathering in The Netherlands which was held in a local school. I received a lot of positive response with regards to the stands - I suppose this picture isn't the best of all but I'll work on some decent pics in the near future.

Cheers

Richard

SO will these stands be suitable for M33's and if so how do they cope with the slightly curved housing?

Hi Simon,

There are threads in the custom top plate which allow you to insert a special bolt with a rubber cap which will allow you to cope with a slightly curved bottom. We supply these at no extra cost. Just send us an email at the time of purchase and we'll make sure it's included in the package.

I have adjusted the shop so that you can select a DSP33 at the end so that you receive the correct top plate and bolt combo. No need for a separate email..

Can you sell the 33 top plate separatly for use on other stands?

If so, at what cost?
I need one meter tall stands which you do not offer, hence my interest in the top plate.

Hi Colin,

Since all of our stands are custom made, I am more than happy to offer you stands of 1000mm high - although at a slightly higher cost.

Should you be interested then follow this link to our summary page for a 1000mm black pair:

We will launch a centre speaker stand to match the above stand within 3-4 weeks from now. This stand is ideally suited for the DSP5200HC (or DSP5000HC...etc.)
