You can also use off-board reclockers (Apogee Big Ben, Genesis Lens, Meridian kit) to help too.

Mark,

I thought I had read that the SB2's jitter was extremely low. Can you direct me to where you found the measurements?

Assuming jitter is an issue, an recommendations on how to correct?

Thanks.

Here you go. Measurements from Squeezebox makers themselves.

Thanks Mark, I'll read thru the thread.

Presuming the reclockers would aid the jitter issue, can I ask which you would recommend?

Thanks again.

I myself use the Apogee Big Ben with great success. Other members here also use them. There of course other alternatives which perhaps others can recommend.

Cheers,

I'm impressed. Few manufacturers are this open.

Updated DACs, smarter case, doesn't mention the power supplies.
Up to December 1st, Slim Devices are doing a $100 off promo if you buy two online. Worldwide shipping is available via UPS.

Here's the UK maths for two wireless SB3s:

2 x SB3 = $598
Promo = -$100
Shipping = $52.46
Customs clearance fee = unknown (described as small).
Total VATable (exc. fee) = $550.46 = 314.55 (@1.75)
VAT on total @ 17.5% = 55.05
Total = 369.60

i.e. 184.80 per box vs. 240 at DABS (for instance).
