Any opinions/comparisons? Im looking to upgrade from my 561. Unsure which direction to go Meridian or Mcintosh. Any opinions?

It's going to be purely down to demoing, I'm afraid. Your system isn't nearly as Meridianized as mine (DSP speakers) so you're not constrained to an M processor. I would say, however that I am very impressed with my G68 (which uses the same DSP algorithms as the modular 861) and I loved my 561 too!
