Would someone please point me to written directions on setting up radio presets on a G68? I bought a G68 several months ago, and at my snails pace have finally completed and tweeked its set up well enough. I've worked on the MRC set up the last two weekends (WOW! made a difference for my listening room) and radio is last item on my agenda (here in the U.S. radio sources are an absolute abomination, with a virtual set of uniform playlists dominating every market). Still, I would like to set up my paltry options for radio. However, I can find no discussion in the Meridian Manual materials I rec'd with my used unit, and after looking through them several times, am seeking help on this. Thanks, Bruce

Bruce,
It's pretty straight forward in MConfig to goto the Tuner page and set your stations up.
There are fields for Waveband (AM/FM), Frequency, Legend and Audio Mode.
That's pretty straight forward. Do you by chance not have the Tuner enabled in G68? That would keep the Tuner tab from being enabled in MConfig.

John, it must be that I do not have the Tuner enabled. I've been through MConfig a number of times and missed this. How do I enable the tuner? Thanks.

It's hard for me to check this, as I don't have a G68 to play with.
It should be enabled by default, and in the bread crumbs it should come after MRC.
On the G68 properties page, make sure that the General tab has Radio and is assigned to MSR button 2.
Other than that, you might need to call M's US folks to help.

Just a point about the new firmware on the G68 and the tuner.
The latest version allows you to set volume per radio station to get a similar perceived level when changing programmes. Unfortunately there is a bug with this which means that if you come out of standby to tuner (or first select tuner) the volume is at a lower level which is only corrected if you up/down the programme station.
Meridian acknowledge this issue and have said "We'll get back to you". One for the fix list.

Thanks much. I'll give it a try this weekend and call Meridian if I remain stumped. Bruce
