My 271 is the interface between the Tidal processor and my DSP‘s.
Everything works fine except one option.
Select in the 271 the audio rate output x1 and not x2,
the audio get very slightly but still annoying drop out‘s.
Reset and power up and update the 271 doesnt help.
Its only on the audio x1 rate, also enable MHR or EBA makes no difference.
I use the audio rate x2 what i prefer,
so its not urgent, just for interest if other HH have the sam issue.

Just use x2. I think it has to be x2 anyway for MHR etc.
M's advice was always get to x2 as early as you can in your chain.

Where is this audio rate setting located?
Main: Marantz Cinema 50, Meridian 271, DSP7200.2, DSP5200HC, DSP5000 rears, Meridian 210.

No such setting in my 271.

The output rate setting is in the 'IP address'/advanced menu as opposed to the default 'IP address'/frontpage menu when one accesses the 271 directly within the LAN.

I have no such menu or setting. The only similar one is "Ethernet".
What app or software is this in?
Do you mean you have the 271 connected directly to an Ethernet port on your PC and this is the setting for that port on the PC?

I have the 218 and use the Meridian control app, should be the same for 271 if you are using the same app. Go to first page and open the Menu, the hamburger, and go to Configuration. Open Configuration and then click at Audio Output . There you will find Digital Output x1 - x2 + MHR settings.
I may be wrong when it comes to the 271.

Just type in the IP address of your 271 with the addition of ‘/advanced’ appended to the IP address and this will bring up the additional menu items available within the web server built into the 271.
No need for any direct wiring, simply access the 271 across your standard LAN via whatever device you normally use with a standard web browser. For clarity, this is not via the Meridian App, just connect across the LAN as you would to any standard device running its own internal web server.
