Hi all,
For several years now, we've been energizing our front speakers through a Shunyata power conditioner (initially Denali, later Everest 8000) and cables. I recently came across Shunyata's upgrade offer to the Everest X.
Wondering if anyone in the M community has trialled the Everest X versus the Everest 8000 when powering M speakers (especially 8kXEs).
I realize that Meridian provides a conventional power cable with their speakers but when we first evaluated Shunyata gear (with lower tier M speakers), we clearly heard improved SQ when the Shunyata gear was installed between the wall and the speakers. We've simply carried on using the Shunyata equipment we owned as we upgraded speakers. But I don't know if in my present use case if the Everest upgrade is worth the significant cost.
The Shunyata rep and their local dealer (who does not carry Meridian) have offered me an in-home trial but I am still in the internet research phase.

If your own Ears (and Wallet) undeniably and demonstrably reveal a discernible improvement to your system's overall performance, that is all that matters - despite any unsubstantiated beliefs of any naysayer on here who has never tried Shunyata for themselves.

Take the home demo and make sure it is extended. You can easily switch between units to test.
Sometimes I have found benefits and purchased. Other times I haven't.

I knew of Shunyata products but not his one; blimey, it is pricey isn't it? To save others the trouble it seems to be c £15K in the UK.

THe new X series is not just different or new it is quite a leap forward in noise reduction . From what I’ve seen the E-X is a significant upgrade. I know the technology from the Omega series cables with Tap-c and common noise rejection. I’m eyeing the Denali-X upgrade for the frontend.
