I’ve recently acquired a new-to-me iPad mini. It’s a 2021 model - 6, and is currently on iPadOS 18.6.2.
Having previously downloaded vMSR, I was extremely pleased to see that vMSR was available for me to redownload in the previous purchases section of the App Store, and is fully up and running on the new pad.
The iPad is offering to install iPadOS 26.3. I haven’t done this, in case vMSR stops working. The new iPad is going to be used exclusively as a remote for the system, Roon etc.
What’s the latest iPadOS anyone has used that vMSR still works with?

Yes, I'd seen this thread from 2022, but wondered what versions of iPadOS people in 2026 had installed that vMSR still worked with.
I also thought it might be useful to some to know that vMSR is still available in 2026 to those who have previously installed the app.

Running just fine with an up-to-date firmware iPhone and Android. This is talking to 218/210/818/MS200 all working fine.

Hi MVirgil,
My understanding is that the vMSR (virtual Meridian System Remote) developed by AudioImages (funded by Meridian) was only available for iPads (so not iPhone or Android devices).
I'm wondering if your experience is related to a different software application.

Apologies, transposed that with the Meridian Control App that has a virtual MSR. The larger screen on the Android it's an exact match for a MSR+.

Just to confirm, as per Graham's previous post, that I updated successfully last night to 26.3 and vMSR still works happily.
