I have tried to install an ID40 to my 861v4.
Roon recognises the ID40 as an audio zone
but I hear no sound.
I have got Roon set as 'net' option on mconfig.
My 861 is running firmware v 4.25 (found by
scrolling through display button in standby)
could this be this problem?
If so any tips on how to update to latest firmware.

Hi,
Drop me a PM, and I should be able to sort the latest firmware.
You need to configure the source as internal (normally SLS), although it may be the firmware that doesn't support the ID40 yet...
