Greetings, I need the community's competent help! I have purchased a pair of DSP5200SEs, and I am trying to get them to work  System is from 1995: 504/500/562V with MC phono card; the 5200SE replace a pair of 5000. I have an AC12, and it connects from the 562V into the "Slave Comms" on the AC12, based on the Comms Cable I have. The DSP5200SE are hooked up to the AC12 into SpeakerLink input on the master (LMRJ45) and Output to the Slave (RSRJ45), input there. Both speakers are setup as follows: Compatibility is set to 500 Controller Mode Auto S.A. 1 on both P.A. 1 on both L.E. 1 Bal: Y EBA: Y Centre: N Diag N F80 IN N ----> What is this? Not explained in my user guide. Front Pos Wall AC15 N ----> What is this? Not explained in the user guide. Issues: I can turn on the Master Speaker with the old MSR, so far so cool. However, neither the Slave speaker nor the 500 components turn on. When I press "Clear" the master speaker goes to Auto - CON; the slave does not react. If I do that so that all components are triggered the 504 and 500 got to N.CON, the 562V to CON. This lets me suspect an error in the COMMS setup?! Also what is the issue between the master the slave? Should I try another Ethernet cable? Thanks for any support. Christian

I have an AC12, and it connects from the 562V into the "Slave Comms" on the AC12, based on the Comms Cable I have. The 562V Comms needs to connect to the Master Comms on the AC12 Rick

Yes, I figured as much. Thank you for the confirmation, I have contacted my dealer for a new comms cable. I also figured out the issue with the connectivity Master - Slave: The cable is somewhere broken. Hopefully AudioQuest provides a repair service. Workarounds are in place, the 5200SE are even while still braking in a dream for me.
Just a small bump:
What is this FR80 and the AC12 for?

Audioquest cables typically have a lifetime warranty, so if your cable is suspect you ought to be entitled to a free replacement (if you bought it brand-new).
