Hi Steven,

I just worked out with help from this forum that my 861 might not be a v4 as it has no IE42 card.

How much you would like for your black 861v4 including that card?

Also was wondering if the power supply was upgraded to a linear one?

Thank you.
Kind regards
Thor

Hi Thor

Thanks for the enquiry.

Which 861 were you interested in, the black one or silver one?

Neither of them currently have the Linear power supply upgrade but this can be done if you wanted it to have it smile

Thanks

I think I might have found your eBay listings - Cueball506.24?

I would be interested in the Black one.

I would like to connect Speakers: DSP6000's, DSP5500HC, DSP5000s
Components: HD621 (so I can connect my laptop to the system, split my audio - return picture via HDMI and perfect surround sound
596 DVD player (not a deal breaker but I have one and I have 2 music DVD;s...lol
808.6 CD player

Not sure if I need an ID20 card to connect it all? - might just work without it.
I would love the IA35 - phono stage, so one day I could possible set up a turntable in the future (if I ever go that way...)

Headphones could be interesting as my family complains once in a while about my constant music listening.... :), but again not a deal breaker, depending on cost.

I do have a current ID40 card for future streaming, if I ever adopt it. Currently I am still buying CD's...

What do you think? How much would a linear power supply upgrade cost and would it make enough difference to justify that extra cost?

Was not really planning on spending more money other than buying a ID42 card... but it is tempting, also not sure what postage to Melbourne Australia would cost?

Hello

Thank you for your reply.

Yes I think all of that can be done and made ready for you.

I do believe a LPS upgrade would make a difference.

Also, the unit can be sent to Australia, but I would need your full address.

Why don’t you PM me.

Regards

Steven
