I have been successfully using my MC200 (as Roon endpoint) connected by ethernet to my PC running as Roon core without problems for about 12 months now.
I had my MC200 outputing both digital (into DSP5000) and analogue into analogue system.
All of a sudden no output from MC200???? Everything looks good, Roon still shows MC200 as endpoint, PC pings MC200 no problem.
I have unplugged, rebooted, re set Sooloos Control, Sooloos PC Touch and Roon all to no avail.
Any ideas please?

Since no one else has responded; you might find that given its age and whatever the cost of repair, it will be more cost-effective to replace it with a Nucleus One for $599.

Maybe worth changing the CMOS battery before you scrap it?
Main system; 861v8 ID41, DSP8000SEU fronts with DSP5500 centre and DSP7000 rears (all in lovely silver) 504, HD621
Second system 861v4 ID40 LPS, G98DH, 504, HD621, 2x DSP5200 with DSP5200 centre
MD600 tucked away in study. Lots of other Meridian!

If the MC200 is visible in Roon, it has booted correctly and that pretty much rules out the CMOS battery. I would check the cable and connections between the motherboard and the sound card.

The HDMI port on the Nucleus One is just for audio out (video is only for the RoonOS admin interface), so in the case of the OP it is not a viable replacement as he is already running Roon core on another device and he would need another device to convert HDMI audio to analog and or digital coax to replace what the MC200 as a Roon endpoint.
A Wiim Pro would be a more suitable replacement for the MC200 in this scenario.

I access my Roon Rock NUC purely via Ethernet.
Is it really true that you can’t do likewise with the Nucleus One?

As the Nucleus One is designed to be used as a Roon Core, it can be accessed via ethernet. The Nucleus One can run with up to six simultaneous endpoints, all of which connect via the ethernet network.

Isn't the HDMI out necessary for Multi-Channel Audio, as Roon doesn't handle that via Ethernet, or has that changed recently?
