Hello everyone, This my third or fourth post since I joined in 2013 and I’m happy to come back to the Meridian world with a vengeance.
I have had a full set of 200 series all along, but I recently sold my M20s which you might have seen on eBay. Those were a good project as I had to replace the KEF tweeters with morels add build a 3D printed tweeter mounting plate.
I have now amassed a lot of of vintage DSP speakers and with the help of friends, I was able to repair and use for parts. The prices were ridiculous and I could not resist. This was all the fault of one of the hitchhikers from New Jersey (All-in ) who tolerated dealt with me, and luckily did not block me while I texted furiously, asking all kinds of silly questions, which, of course are in the manuals. I am a compulsive learner and get obsessed as I suspect many of us here too, so in the end I ended up with two pairs of D 6000s, one pair of 5500 with center one D 2500 subwoofer add a pair of the DSP5000 with center. And one pair of 5500s had to be sacrificed to convert one pair of the 6000s into 24/96.
As a result I will be posting some parts for sale here in the forum. I just need it to make a few posts here in order to qualify to make a new thread I am incredibly thankful for this forum because people are super helpful and friendly as opposed to other forums. I guess we all feel like we have been stranded on a desert island.
I don’t even know if Bob Stewart is still involved with the company but I know I could never afford anything new from Meridian. Not even a Bluetooth speaker, I have a YouTube channel called ”de audiofilos y locos” and I plan to make a video up on my Meridian reentry. But in the meantime, if you look at the shorts section, you will find some short videos I have published with my Meridian equipment. They are recorded binaurally. After experiencing multi channel, I don’t know if I can go back to 2 channel audio. However, I do have some nice pieces of kit including Audio Research, Mark Levinson, two pairs of Quads, and Quad electronics.
The truth is that I don’t have any need to go back but I would like to try using Quads as main and center speakers sometime just to try. I can’t imagine that they would half the dynamics on low register of the D6000s. More to come and if I ever learn how to post pictures here I will. Last week I went to London, and I got to meet Steve Perry. I dropped some amplifier boards with him and gave him some freebies from all the carnage that went on in the process of repair and cannibalizing, he’s a great guy and I can tell he loves Meridian gear. He’s got all of it.
Best regards to all, Pedro

I believe I had saw that lot of speakers, but I am not in USA, so it wasn’t an option for me, anyway, nice deal!
Please let me know if you plan to sold some 8” drivers. They are find in the 5500 and 6000 speakers.
Thanks,
Jorge
