My M6’s can easily rattle the China at 50 (it’s loud, and deep). I’m not sure I’d want to crank it up to 70 in a much smaller room.

Hi Hector,

5200SE factory and 808.6 is a beautiful system, I’m not surprised you love it.

I’m going to have a fresh listen to some this weekend (7 years since I heard them!) and really looking forward to it as my memory of the combo is they were great.

Hector, you are a man after my own heart. I’ve been a huge Chris Rea fan for 30 years or more and have most of his albums. Having said that I don’t play his music as much nowadays but your post made me rush to my system to enjoy some Auberge action. What a great album although I still think it’s topped by Road to Hell…the ‘complete’ album in my view.

I'm not meaning to go off topic but in my defence I was listening via Qobuz on my upgraded to SE 7k2s. It sounded sublime although not the remastered version Hector mentioned.

Ultimately it’s all about the music…

System: DSP7200SE (upgraded) + RPI (PiCorePlayer) with Allo Digione running Squeezebox system.

Also various legacy 500 components - 557x2, 502, 508-20bit, 566-24bit plus too many other misc amps/speakers.
