I am setting up a cinema system based on G61RSL and HD621.
No HDMI switching required as only the AppleTV 4K will use the system. The Xbox and PS5 can use the projector built in speaker.
So I literally just need whatever (presumably HDFury) solution separates the single HDMI signal into an audio to pass to the HD621 and passes video straight through to projector. I know some of the boxes do video processing too but I don’t really trust myself to not make things worse.
Recommendations appreciated

There's really only a couple of choices to make.
If you're happy with 'older' specs (so no 8k, HDMI2.1) then Vertex2 (or Diva).
If you want the current cutting edge, then VRRoom.
Probably depends on availability (new or used) and price. I have one Diva and one vertex2, but I only got the diva because it was available used.
I'd still push all your sources through it, XBox gaming is brilliant with good speakers.
Some people have had good experiences with cheaper strippers and splitters - I tinkered for a couple of years and never really got cheaper solutions working. HDFury all the way for me.
Main system: 818v3, 861v6, HD621, Oppo 103D, DSP8000PP, DSP7200SE HC, DSP3200, SGR Sub Family room: HD621, 861v6, DSP5200 L/C/R Headphones: Schiit Mjolnir v1, Sennheiser HD800; (office) iFi iDSDPro, Focal Elegia

Vertex 2 works. There are some threads here, how to configure.
