Hi

It is some time since I used my Meridian setup but it is now back out of storage.

I have an 861v6 and legacy speakers. I also have 2 x AC12, one for each speaker. That said I have the 861 and the master turning on OK, but nothing from the slave.

I have the

861 Master Speakerlink -> AC12 BNC - Speaker Master Comms
861 Slave Side Speakerlink -> AC12 DIN Slave - Slave Comms on Speaker

Is this correct? Could it just be incorrect wiring on the DIN plugs. Is a slave required from the Master back to the AC12.

When set up before there was a Speakerlink Master as the Centre.

Any guidance greatfully received.

OK, now it’s working for on/off but the volume is not tracking accurately or in step. I have also connect directly with S lead rather than 2 x AC12 with the same result.

I have checked the S lead and it seems OK.

Make sure there is only 1 controller in the chain.
I always turn off the controller mode on my speakers, and use it on the processor.

Auto controller also sometimes can cause issues.

This I think will fix your volume problems…
