Gday ladies and Gents,

As the title suggests. The back story is I disconnected my system 861 and 2 DSP33’s over the holiday period. Reconnected and no sound.
I traced it back to 1 x DSP33. It’s not the digital cables, comms cables are from Ian so top notch.
It connects to the laptop and can fetch and store, did the paperclip reset but the green light remains dull whatever I do. So maybe comms board?

I guess I’m looking for direction to go next or ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Shane

Try copy and pasting the title of your thread into the Google Search function at the top of the Hitchhikers page and you'll see that this is a reasonably well known problem with a number of possible causes and solutions. It might be as simple as swapping the speakers around. Good luck.

Run the speaker calibration, at least the white noise will tell you if they are working and also do a hard re-boot of the entire system.

We'll Gents,
My DSP33 is still a low dimed green led brick. I have 2 options.
I1) Ask this amazing community for the latest firmware which i think is 1.10 and reflash or
2) Purchase 2 x Hypex FA123 plate amps as they are the exact dimensions.

So if anyone please has the firmware???
Thanks
Shane

P.s. I have tried everything to get this one to come out of standby.

Cheers
Shane

DSP33 can be a challenge sometimes. Have you tried the obvious.
1. Checking setup in Legacy config
2. Switching roles from slave to master or master to slave
3. Switching comms input to output.
4. Powering the speakers up first followed by your comms connected units.

To bad you are so far away.

Just a little update:

Reinstalled V1.10 thanks to a fellow HH and still no dice.

I notice that the good speaker's LED flashes from dull green to bright green, like it's being forced out of standby where the bricked one just stays dull.
I have tried everything but to no avail. Willing to try anything before I rip the guts out of both and install Hypex FA123's.

Cheers
Shane
