Have there been improvements/modifications of the DSP3200 over recent years - significant enough that one might refer to a 3200.2?
I have seen some examples with a white cone and others with a black cone version of the wide band driver. I thought this might have been purely cosmetic as I’d never seen any discussion or announcement - until stumbling onto a recent article (ca 2019) that referred to improvements having been made in the drivers and mounts?
In my typical fashion, I can’t relocate the article now. Nor can I find any discussion in a search here - Google or otherwise.
Are there significant differences between the white and black cone versions? Enough that one could/should refer to a DSP3200.2?

Was there ever a clearer / official answer to this question?

There are 200*** serial numbers and 201*** serial numbers, Meridian usually only change serial numbers where there has been a noteworthy change?

Mine are all 'D3200-200***A' or 'D3200-200***B' and I've been told that the '-200***A/B' denotes the change - so I assume there must have been a '-100***A/B' series originally.
Something else I've been told is that the 'white' tweeter/mid are the same as the 'black' ones performance-wise, and they're also the same as are used in the in-wall DSP series.

The DSP320, 520 and 640 including the dot two variants use the same wide range driver as the DSP3200. The DSP730 and 750 use beryllium tweeters.

The DSP3200 have been around for a while now so if there any news of a replacement? Would be nice to have the something with the built in volume control like the 3100's
