I emailed regarding the issue. I have followed it up because I hadn't received any response. Still nothing
I would suggest everyone who is suffering with the issue should contact Meridian.

First I used the online form and had no response. Followed this up with an email to Meridian. The response showed the email was sent to technical support.


As Nick says the more people who contact them the better. It is clearly a flaw in the firmware given certain signal frequencies and amplitude. An oddity but still a flaw.

I sent a problem report in November 2022, and sent one again explaining my 2nd DSW.2 has the same problem. Today I got response ... Let's hope they come up with a fix soon.

Both myself and Nick have also reported the fault in the past couple of weeks. I'm not holding my breath for a fix in short time but hopefully an explanation and plan would be a positive response.

Reported to Meridian via email.

That makes 4 of us so far I think.

Scratch that. Their Info email address isn't working as their AWS tenant isn't accepting emails and I have tried from multiple accounts on multiple domains. I hope they remembered to pay their bills......

Now reported via the webform. Unfortunately despite not being flagged as mandatory, or having an error when not filled in, they require a phone number to submit the form correctly. They also required my full postal address. Both of which are unnecessary and disproportionate.

Not only do they no longer seem to care about end users based on their CMP, cookie and privacy notices they also don't give a damn about GDPR or PECR. This combined with the email issues doesn't paint Meridian as a particularly professional company at all.

Overall a poor showing.

Meridian do not directly communicate with nor directly support their customers.

They will only deal with customer concerns via an authorised PP.

I think we understand that Meridian don't usually communicate directly with users but in this case several of us have had replies stating they will keep us informed of developments. My reply was a bona fide M reply and my report was forwarded to Technical Support. I don't expect a fix directly but I do expect do be kept informed of progress as their email states. However I will keep my dealer up to date with my report and M's response as well.

Maybe we should all go to a chosen PP then. Or maybe if a friendly dealer would like to come forward and take this to M for us, that would be very much appreciated by all I would say.

Hello guys

I take it no one has heard anything from Meridian yet regarding the issue with the DSW?
Well here's one to try whilst we wait patiently. Also keeps the thread alive.
Logan. One hour mark. As Logan returns to hotel. Volume at 70.
The DSWs were continuosly popping. That's the most I have heard them struggle.
Popping and rattling like my sister's Amstrad stereo back in the 80s!! (Maybe M outsourced production of the DSW to Amstrad)!!
Anyway, the wait continues.
