Meridian Unplugged - Powered by MrTechGuy.co.uk Forums Restaurant at the End of Universe Hitchhikers - Meridian Equipment FS: Meridian 210 Streamer

I have a 210 Streamer bought from Rick about 8 months ago but surplus to needs.

It was originally purchased to encourage the rest of the family to use the Meridian system using streaming from their phones.
However, you can lead a horse to water.....

So, it's back to just me using Roon and the 218, it's overkill having a 210 as well.

In theory, there’s nothing to separate the audio output capability of the 218 and 210.

I reality, the 210 is an authentic RAAT (Roon) device. By comparison, the 218 is based on Sooloos architecture.

With only me using Roon (as seems to be my family wishes ) there seems little point in continuing to use the 210 when, as you say, sonically and operationally there is probably no benefit.

Conversely, if you wanted Spotify Connect and/or the benefits of RAAT (multi-zone for example) then the 210 makes a lot of sense.

Looking for offers of £600 plus for those interested.
