According to the circuit diagrams, the value of the inductor is: 9mH and sits in the tweeter amp section. It could be that these were not fitted to later revisions. I've serviced a few M2s over the years but have not noticed if they were fitted or not...
If you're fitting a variable inductor, that will require an LCR bridge in order to correctly calibrate it to 9mH, so it may be simpler to find a fixed value inductor.
