When Oppo / Firestick play a HDR10 film through UHD722 the LG shows HDR10 on screen and when I check the picture format selected by the TV it shows HDR10.
When Oppo / Firestick play a Dolby Vision film through UHD722 the LG shows Dolby Vision on screen and when I check the picture format selected by the TV it shows Dolby Vision.
Similarly Sky shows either a HLG or HDR10 picture as detected by the LG TV
Signal path is Oppo (or Firestick) > UHD722 input > UHD722 output to LG HDMI input. Sound is HDMI to UHD722 and then Meridian MMHR to 861v8.
Not sure if HDR10+ works from Oppo to UHD722 as I've only just realised I have 2 discs with this format and I've probably not watched them since buying the LG TV.
Hope we're on the same page now.

Last time I contacted Meridian they said the UHD722 did support Dolby Vision, but not HDR10+. This was around the time it launched. I never got HDR10+ to work through the UHD722 so this sounds correct.
I do find it strange that they claim Dolby Vision is a new feature. Perhaps there are more levels to Dolby Vision than I know about.
Also, I noticed yesterday that my PS4 does have a HDCP 2.3 connection established between my TV and the UHD722, even though this feature should not be available. My UHD722 is one of the original batches and has not been hardware upgraded, though the firmware is at the latest version 1.1.5

It can be used in all versions of the UHD722.
The Uploader interrogates the UHD722 and sends the appropriate firmware for the hardware version.

Anyone,
Has there been a verified hardware update to the UHD722? Can I get one, and is it user-installable (officially or otherwise)?
Is it too much to ask M if there is one? Is it a PnP port module?
Also, can anyone out there assist with sourcing firmware version 1.1.5 or the latest for my early edition UHD722?
I will be discreet with any paladin who helps or directs me to a willing supplier.
The dealer situation in Chicago has only further deteriorated since my last round of updates.
I appreciate any help you can provide.

I'm happy to report that the Hitchhikers have come through for me, and I now have Firmware v1.1.5 for my UHD722 from an official source.
