I 've been using my 210 with my Meridian system for quite sometime and was happy with it. Flawless integration, nice sound... Due to recent set up changes, it's now connected to a Yamaha pre-pro (CX-A5200). Seems to be doing fine, but every now and then there are slight "interruptions" in the flow of sound. I can not exactly describe it, music doesn' t actually stop, but it's kind of "stumbling" for a moment. Reminds me of a wi-fi music streaming loosing connection for a split second. This will go on once or twice every minute, with music playng fine in between. So I am wondering if there is a specific "setting" or anything else I should check/change in my 210, in order to enjoy it again?

Hi, there isn't much info in your post to really begin to suggest solution. Can you
How is your 210 connected
a) to your network ? b) to your Yamaha ?
Have you noticed a pattern of when this happens vs a specific file type ? e.g. local vs Tidal, FLAC vs DSD, 44k vs 192k ?
What system is your source for the 210 ? Is that on wire or wifi ?
The more you can describe the more chance there is to offer advice.
Rgds, Nick

I guess you are right... Well, the 210 is connected via ethernet to the network and a co-axial SPDIF cable goes to the Yamaha. No special pattern I think, but I will check more carefully. I use it mainly with Roon, I usually stream Tidal and less locally. No DSD. I noticed it with both CD quality and High Definition content. I control it with an iPad (wifi obviously).

OK....so nothing immediately obvious in your setup (like wifi where it shouldn't be).
I would check that the SPDIF cable is secure.
You might try Resync delay in the Roon setup for this device. It doesn't sound like it relates to what you experience but is worth a try.
There is a known connectivity issue for some 210/218 users but that presents entirely different issues than you described. So, I don't think it is relevant.
Is there another digital input you could try ? Just to rule out a glitch on the one that you have used ?
Can't think of much else to suggest.

Thank you for your suggestions and sorry for my belated reply! Well, I tried and checked everything you mentioned during the weekend, but no luck. I knew that my my 210 works fine, at least it did for quite sometime. So I tried to experiment with various settings in the Yamaha pre and it seems that the reason of this streaming malfunction is the activated HDMI output of the processor. When I turn both HDMI outs off, everything is fine. Tidal, Qobuz and local streaming regardless quality is flawless. I am not happy with this finding, but it is what it is. Complicated multitasking equipment like AV pre-pro have their issues I guess... Ahh, I miss my HDMI-less G61 and my ancient trustful HD621! Anyway , I thought I should let people know, just in case anyone faces something similar in the future.
