Have never upgraded firmware for my mains DSP5500 upgraded to 24/96k. Is the firmware upgrade worthwhile regarding processing resolution? The others don't seem like a big deal. My center channel is a DSP5000C.

I find it a huge improvement on my 5500HC
It completely changed the sound if you ask me, in a good way.

Mids/high’s are better.
Voices sound more natural, and biggest change the sound is hanging mid air in front of the speaker.
Hard to explain, but it gave me the same kind of effect with 2.5b9 firmware for the 568.2 processor.
Timing latency is now also the same with my DSP33’s, which made a good improvement in surround content.
