Cleaning up the remainder of my redundant M gear brings me to this unit. I bought it five years ago from a fellow Canadian that was liquidating his late father's estate. I scored a record breaking deal at the time but received nothing but the processor itself.

The G68XXV had sustained some "rack rash"- several large scratches on it's top cover but otherwise looked good. This G68 was purchased as a back-up for my 861v4 which had suffered repeated switching power supply failures. My 861 was down again while waiting for the local Premium Partner to obtain and perform the LPS upgrade. At time of purchase I brought the G68 to a local high-end AV service tech and he replaced the caps in the G68's SMPS with higher quality, higher temp versions to ensure it's long term reliability. I substituted the G68 for several months until the LPS equipped 861v4 returned to service and then the G68 has been shelved since.

I pulled it out and dusted it off this evening and then temporarily plugged it in place of my living room 565z3/562v3. I played several CDs and the G68 remains 100% operationally. You can see fresh pics in my CanuckAudioMart ad where it is also advertised. Other than the two big scratches on the top and some faded screen printing on the front panel, it shows very well.

My firm (and ridiculously cheap) asking price is $625 USD + actual shipping cost.

All that is included is a generic IEC power cord. You must provide or source your own MSR+ and COMMs cables. If needed I can provide a set of five 1m XLR to RCA cables to allow use with power amps that do not support balanced inputs. While I do not have the factory box, I have bought and sold so much gear over the years that I can confidently come up with robust improvised packaging.

My G68 has been sold to a local M-fan. Would a moderator please close this ad.
