On my 861 v4 I get no center channel or sub output when the format is PCM or MHR Movie6 or Movie8
I get Center channel and Sub output when the format is 2 channel pcm or mhr 2 channel or Dolby Digital 5.1.
I use the Meridian configuration program and have reset and started from scratch a couple of times to no avail.
I configured it as an analogue theater. I have front speakers set to large passive, sides and rears set small passive analogue and lfe sub.
I connect the 861 to the HD621 via MD2 using H1-H4 inputs

any ideas anyone?

Gentlemen, I think I have resolved my issue and as usual it is an operator error.

I went back to the configuration Marc Koval had installed when he repaired the 861.

Via the print out of the configuration, I discovered that I had failed to connect the HD621 to the Meridian comms via Card: C000
I only had the HD621 connected to MD2 and maybe that is why the center channel and sub would not play periodically

I made the connection from the HD621 (c) to the 861 C:000 and now the center and subs are outputting.

I will keep you posted if this is not the fix.
