Hi I do not use digital speakers, so I want the digital output as an input for a DAT recorder. I suppose the output is 96.
Well for the DAT I need 48, or 44.1 any way do do that. Without an external box.
Best regards Andreas

Hi Andreas,
If you tell the unit that you have old DSP5000 (18bit) then the max the G68 can output would be 48KHz. Effectively setting HS=N
That should work...
Good luck,
Steve

Can't you do it from the remote in the same way as you'd adjust the Bass and Treble. Brian

You need to do it via MConfig on the computer. RS232 (or USB adaptor) and a null modem cable should work. Unfortunately, you cannot adjust this on the front panel or through the remote.

In MeridianConfig - add a dummy pair of DSP5000's, edit the properties of them and set to 18bit.
You may be able to set HS=N in the menus from the front panel but not sure you can save that permanently...
Cheers,
Steve

Unfortunately, you cannot adjust this on the front panel or through the remote. Oh, yes you can. I didn’t check to see if it would stay after a power cycle, but got my G68 out of the cabinet and it works just fine- Function + > then scroll thru till H/S =Y and use up down key to change. Brian

This is great - much easier than using the program! Thanks.

Hi,
Can you do the same with G61? Unfortunately I did not find the HS=N in the Wizard.
Best regards, Andreas

Hi,
It's done via the remote control (see the DSP presets section in the manual).
