No idea if reasonable. I assume they are worth the same. I bought into the 218 for MQA with MC200 before 210 was released. 218 has extra features I dont need that you may do.

What are you using for a pre amp. That's what the 218 achieves... 220/218 make a perfect streamer, pre amp combo.
No 18 in the Hall of fame  I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

I have a G65. 218 just decodes MQA until my MC200 was no longer working with Tidal.

I have a G65. 218 just decodes MQA until my mc200 was no longer working with Tidal. Your MC200 can still act as an audio endpoint from Roon. Roon can do decode of MQA/Tidal Masters, MC200 then pass that direct to DSP SE's for them to do final render - requires recent firmware.

Prime & PSU, Focal Elear headphones, Roon (ROCK 8Gi5 NUC), Explorer 1 & 2, F80. 200/203, various Sonos (via Roon).

The 218 can act as a Roon endpoint also. Not sure MC200 will pass MQA through G65 and onto DSP5200SE if used as endpoint. I can't connect direct to speakers.

Unfortunately none of the Meridian processors can passthrough MQA streams, not even when set to the DIRECT pre-set, a firmware update is long overdue imho.
The only way to get the MQA stream intact is to bypass the processor completely.
