Does anyone have any experience of the latency of an HDMI signal through an HDMI switch such as the Meridian HD421 (or another similar product or even an HDMI to Display Port adaptor)? This is in relation to its use in gaming scenarios. It's currently linked direct to an Xbox which doesn't as far as I know have Display Port.
I'm thinking that getting an HDMI switch may be useful for my sons state of the art gaming monitor (so very high refresh) to allow other sources to be viewed, but not wanting to ask him as it would put some expectation bias on his experience.
Meridian owner since 1992 Prime & PSU, Focal Elear headphones, Roon (ROCK 8Gi5 NUC), Explorer 1 & 2, F80. 200/203, various Sonos (via Roon).
