Would some kind soul point me to the download for this? I recently upgraded a NAS' firmware and the existing application closes down the whole time saying there is no digital signature.

I'm hoping that a reinstall will work but the HH links to the package on M's site that I've found are all 404 not found.

If you read the Meridian entry on Tidal's pages about how to get Tidal it still talks about being able to get Tidal with Sooloos, but only with the latest Sooloos software/firmwares (nothing new, just the most recent). For QNAP you need to use a plug-in on the NAS with a particular NAS firmware which is now quite old. For these reasons I have not updated my QNAP beyond the advised firmware, nor the plug-in, and Tidal still works for me. You can downgrade a QNAP firmware but you have to have the old firmware from somewhere to do it. I had to badger QNAP support to let me have it and they were very reluctant but eventually relented. You also need to be comfortable with not having any security protections the older firmware does not provide. I use my QNAP only for Sooloos and backups done via my firewalled home network so I am not that bothered.

Sadly I use my NAS for other purposes, so do like to keep it up to date. I only leave Sooloos running in the background so when I'm using my Roon sub elsewhere the Sooloos can be used at the other locations.

If someone could let me have a copy of the QNAP QPKG it would be interesting to see whether a reinstall would trip the signature problem.

I have now re-installed Sooloos on my QNAP 851 but did so whilst allowing the QNAP to allow installation without a digital signature (QNAP > App center > Settings > General > Allow installations without a digital signature).

My QNAP 851 is running firmware 4.5.1.

Where previously the Sooloos App was being closed by QNAP relatively quickly after my starting it is has now been running for a day without stopping. It is still flagged in the App centre as having no digital signature.

I have not been able to get confirmation that Sooloos is working as I'm not at that location presently so am going to try the same exercise on my local NAS QNAP 453 which is running QNAP 4.4.3.

I'm just testing my Sooloos on QNAP. The Sooloos app itself runs but I cannot get it to play music to my ID41 using the web app. I cannot install Control:Mac as it cannot find the Sooloos core (even though I can access it using the web app). My newer version of OSX also means I have to override the usual security about Control:Mac needing to be updated (which we know it won't be).

I will try adding a Control unit and running the Sooloos core on that, but in the meantime I would not recommend anyone still running Sooloos on their QNAP update to a more recent firmware.

Thank you for that update. Sooloos continues to run on my not updated QNAP, so your advice is very useful.
