These speakers have been a weird eBay experience - I returned the speakers, and the seller is now saying the drivers aren't the ones that were in them when they sent them. Seems to think I took the drivers out and glued others in place?!

Of course I've not done this, and I've photos showing the condition of the speakers on arrival. I'd expect eBay will refund me ok. Just seems a really strange thing to claim, though - do people do this?

That’s right, Steve’s (SWPNT) 5ks are there. That would be a very safe buy...I keep reminding myself that I really don’t need anymore speakers otherwise I would be taking them on!!

Thanks. I'll should really wait for this to be sorted and to get a refund before buying more speakers, though frown This has definitely been my weirdest eBay experience!

I sold a Nikon Camera battery on eBay. The guy pinged me to say the battery condition wasn't 100% and wanted a discount. I just asked him to send it back and refunded him. There are people out there that do this wierd stuff. I recycled the battery rather than let him have it.

That’s why I rarely sell stuff on eBay.

Cheers

Yeah - I think I've been lucky with buying up to now. Anyway, looks like they've been refunded now - means I can start looking for their replacement smile
