Hi Nick,
Yes thanks. I know Roon works well for lots of people but it isn't for me. I basically only listen to vinyl and to Tidal, so I would rather have something that does that directly rather than pay for additional hardware and a Roon subscription. The MS200’s have just been sitting in their boxes for a few years and now Sooloos isn’t supporting my MC200, which i bought less than 2 years ago and I need something that will meet my needs.
I am going for a dedicated Naim streamer instead, and play that through my AC200 and M6 speakers. Makes multi-room easy and they have built their recent business on streaming with a good app.
Thanks for the question though, i have spent quite a lot of time deciding what to do. Frankly, I feel quite let down by Meridian’s lack of support for Sooloos.
