In DVD/BD the voices are separated from the other sounds.
In my setup with an Oppo 103D going into a HD621 ->- 861v4 I do not get the voices audible, only in DSP preset Ambisonics I can hear the voices.
Why is it and how can I get the voices audible in the other presets? Any suggestions?

In Ambisonic, can you hear them properly, or is just they exist.
Anyway, three things to check.
1. Oppo is outputting right format 2. Cables connected correctly from HD621 to 861. I regularly get this wrong 3. Check the 861 config and make sure you have the right setting for MCh movie (4. Unlikely but make sure your 861 is outputting to the correct speakers, I once got my centre and rears mixed up)

In Ambisonics I can hear the voices clearly and I can even change the language. In the other presets I can hear there are voices, but I can't understand them, because they are not loud enough.
I have checked all connections and settings. I hope somebody recognizes the problem and can give me some advice.
So I wonder why I can hear the voices in Ambisonics and why not in the other presets.
Regards, Pieter

Second checking the cables.
Four out from HD621, three in to 861v4.
First time, I missed the center/sub channel entirely, hence no voice.

What do you get if you simply play a regular CD?

This reminds me of something I ran into a few years ago. The order in which I wrote the config to the HD621 and 861 somehow mattered sometimes.
So whenever I ended up with no center channel audio, I reversed the order of writing the config. I can't remember if HD621 or 861 was first.
Give it a try and if it doesn't work, switch the order and see if that works for you.

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestions and support.
The Centre speaker and the DSW didn't give any sound. Therefor I had no voices. The problem was in the connections and the way my AC11 handles them.
