Here is an 861 sited in Eastern Canada that appears to have everything you are looking for except the LPS. I believe this seller has been trying to move his 861 for some time without success. Perhaps you could offer a price that would make shipping and subsequently fitting a new LPS palatable.

If you don’t want surround, why not buy Meridian 818? Or, buy a refurbished 861 v.8 from a reliable Meridian dealer.

If the 861 has the switch mode power suppl,y it is voltage agnostic. Once a LPS is installed then the voltage is region specific. A 861v8 will have a LPS installed so be careful when buying these that it has the correct transformer for your location.

Might not be as bad as it may seem. I don't believe I have ever seen a 861v4 that did not have the IA45 card installed in it. OA12 and OA13 do pop up from time to time. Interesting Bruce, I rarely see 861v4 with IA45 card installed, these are very rare in the UK. The UK 861v4 came with IA00 Analogue Inputs as standard, which have 6 * two-channel stereo inputs and no multichannel inputs. Rick

Might be a US thing. Every 861v4 that I have ever bought, traded in, or serviced has always had the IA45 installed. Most that show up on the for sale sites in the US also seem to follow this trend.

I have been offered a new Lexicon MC10 for £2.2k, which I know is excellent.
If I can swing a Meridian solution for similar money I will take the risk.

That is a great price for the MC10 but for what it's worth the Lexicon unit seems to be based on the Arcam AV860 which was released about 3 years ago. Nick

Yes. As a unit it was a step up on the AV888, which itself is a step up on my Oppo 105D.
